Who are we
Founded in 1992, The-Box Development has been providing customers with
software, hardware prototypes and consultancy for over 25 years.
We have been programming and building networked services and devices from
day one, well before the term Internet of Things was coined. However,
we are not exclusively focused on IoT, over the years we have developed
software and hardware for many applications, from LoRaWAN nodes to USB
connected sensors.

Smart Ship Sensor
In 2019 we were part of the team that ran a proof of concept implementation of a harbour management system. The system included custom designed sensors to detect moored vessels and an application providing feedback to the harbour master and his staff on available and used quay space.
TTN Groningen
We actively support the The Things Network Groningen by sharing LoRaWAN knowledge and providing IoT workshops.
